Social entrepreneur and experimenter

Hi there and thanks for joining me...

I am an entrepreneur with the ambition to use innovative applications of technology and policy to make the world a more equal place. My working background is primarily in end-to-end eCommerce & digital product management although I also have some experience in magazine publication, seed capital and selling toilet seats (at John Lewis!)

I grew up in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, went to a local comprehensive school, enjoyed playing football and loved starting little business ventures through my teen years. I struck gold with importing football boots, saw more success with window cleaning and customising MySpace pages for rappers but unfortunately had a less-than-ideal outcome from a mobile phone contract cashback scheme gone wrong!

After leading my local Youth Council, I studied Management Sciences at the London School of Economics and then went on to join the New Entrepreneurs Foundation programme. In the past few years, as well as contracted work and personal ventures I've represented the British Council in Sudan on an entrepreneurship programme, mentored for the Citrus Saturday enterprise skills education programme and have been invited to join the Founders of the Future programme.

I'm primarily based in London but enjoy travelling for work (I visit Berlin regularly), am a lover of big flavour food (please check out the 'Cooked' series on Netflix!), music from jazz to techno (P.S. my brother is a musical genius) and spending quality time with family and friends.
